The FRLS Andrew Carnegie is a massive factory ship. It is designed for semi-automatic mining and fabrication work on unsettled worlds. It can extract minerals and build everything needed on the spot. The ship was pressed into service to support Project Goliath in 2670
The Andrew Carnegie only requires a small crew to keep an eye on operation and inspect the ship a lot, inside and out.
Around 2660, a computer failure on board killed the crew. Afterwards the ship got the nickname Old Carnage.
The ship is slow and difficult to maneuver. |
