Old threads?

I would have thought it was better to keep older threads going than start lots of new ones with the same damn topic (which I've seen happen on a lot of boards).

Hey, at least I bother to READ the old posts; a lot of newcomers could just as soon start making new threads without even caring if the topic had been mentioned before and annoying everyone who's heard the same discussion a hundred times before.

If you could only have seen some of the giant wars between WC fans in times past. :) I'm talking about hundreds of posts PER HOUR as people furiously argued over this thing or that thing in the WC universe. You guys are relatively tame these days thanks to age, wisdom or some other thing having to do with time (or Kris' ban-stick).

Pshaw! The CIC is only the tip of the iceburg... the really good discussions were on AGWC and some of the earlier web-board.
 
AGWC (alt.games.wing-commander) is pretty much dead... we mostly just help the random people who pass by now... and the other major web-boards are long gone...

TC...really huh ?I didnt know that......I should be there and watch just like I did with the CIC before I register.
When I registered,almost everything had been discussed!

We dont have any good Threads anymore in my opinion!:(
 
That's the problem with a game series like Wing Commander. When now "new" games have come out, there's not much to talk about

Yeah.. right now there's only a few of you guys with over a thousand posts. There would be single months where I would post a thousand messages at the newsgroup.

I should really update that, but it doesn't seem worth it for, at the most, a few dozen posts a person in the past 9 months.

Stiletto? Hmmmm. I had to look this one up since I can't get my hands on Prophecy. Hmmmm. Well, I like Kure Galanos from Rogue Spear. Gotta love a girl who has an aggression rating higher than anyone else. And if they ever make a Rogue Spear movie, whoever plays Stiletto would be perfect for the role. Yeah, I like what I see.

Her personnality? Hmmmm. I only read about it, having not played the game myself, and I'd have to say that she can't be as bad as some make her out to be.

Basically anything you could possibly want off the Internet you can get. No matter how rare or, shall we say questionable it is. (I used to fight child porn and would report to Kazaa and Morpheus, which you should stay away from, who was trading in it).
