WC3 video help

I have wing commander 3 running with DOSBOX 7.2, but the video won't work right. Anytime the movie plays, it fills only the top fourth of the screen, and it locks up. I can fly the missions and navigate throughout the game, but there's no sound either. Any ideas as to what to do about this?

That's pretty unusual for both sound and video to be broken in DOSbox. What happens when you go through the installation menus for the game? Does it install right? What happens if you choose different settings? WC3 -i relaunches the installer.
