I tried and reshade made the screen funky on both sides.
Is there a version that works better with the mod?

I believe others have had some luck in that direction. I've never tried it.

That sounds like a feature worth exploring, assuming I manage to find the time to get back to this. There's currently no configurable game option for subtitles; it's either speech or text.

Subtitles with speech would be a really wonderful addition!
