And an in-joke in Marathon: Infinity. There are several "Electric Sheep" levels.

I think that guy was from Birmingham. I don't know whether his parents were from there though.
Anyway, such things haven't happened to me with americans yet, although I heard there are some strong accents there as well.
Back to the sheep: yeah electric sheep are something that is used as a easter egg sometimes. IIRC I even noticed one when I played WoW, which was quite funny.
Btw: That book is great but there is some stuff in it that is kinda weird. The movie was also nicely done. I even think the bad guys are depicted way cooler in the movie. Normally I prefer the books over the movies which is normal I guess, but in this case I love both.
Speaking of books: I finished the Price of Freedom today and I'm a bit disappointed. I think HotT and PoF are not nearly as good as the rest. The story was better in the games IMO.

I havent read Pof or HotT I will buy them and read them some day soon!
Blade runner is on of the all time greats so many different cuts out for it though some do ruin it a bit but I hear that Mr Scott is working on a follow up not sure if its true but would be great

I don't know, I think Prometheus proved that Ridley Scott should probably never direct another movie ever again.
