Stupid question

Im playing P2 for the first time (Clive Owens, thats cool!) but i accepted a mission to help out the CIS, they are being overwhelmed by pirates at Hephestes. So I go there, kill them all, and then nothing. After a while I get a letter telling me thanks for nothing. What do I need to do?

yeah, that's one of the things I didn't like about P-2.... not very specific at what you needed to do sometimes :(

Some missions in P2 actually required you to clear all the nav points *around* some place. (For instance, sometimes when someone says they need "help getting out of Janus" you may have to clear all nav points *around* Janus so the guy can leave the planet. Not sure if this is the case in this specific mission, though. It may be just a bug... IIRC, P2 wasn't the most bug-free game ever... but I find it a fun game nonetheless :)

I don't even play it anymore, the major reason being that I have to start all over every time (including re-installing it) because of Windows :(

That's where savegames come in...

But when you must travel across 20 minijumpoints do the task and later travel 10 more to the closest planet or base and in the middle of the mission the game crash...

yeah, i sort of realized that after i posted it.

When I check the diary, it describes my mission objectives as simply eliminate all pirates at nav point 1. I did that. Its a bummer.

If you could combine Battlefield Earth and Pearl Harbor into one movie youd end up with the largest mass suicide ever as every person in every theater kills themselves for going and seeing the movie.

Edit: he means at least it doesnt say Battlefield Earth in the title.
Threw me off too.

Sup said he couldn't believe in a "sub-par Wing Commander game" and then you [Mav] said "well at least it doesn't say "Wing Commander" in the title ".

I followed up by saying at least it doesnt have the words "Battlefield Earth" in the title...

Ok, my bad John Travolta joke sucked. So sue me... :(
