Anyway, the Epee may have had paper armour (cheap single-ply recycled toilet paper, to be precise), but it was still a fine ship, as long as you didn't have Bear as your wingman. And if you haven't tried it in UE... you don't know what you're missing :cool:.

I ve tested it.......Hey! Its not ugly cause of UE !The original design sucks......
 
No, the original design was beautiful :(. It was a work of art... don't even have to fly 'em, just put them in a gallery for folks to look at.

Why would I be kidding about that? The Epee is a great design. Sleek, modern. One of the best looking designs from WC2.

EDER, why you made the Gladius small ?? Its 36 meters in both Armada and Privateer....... !

Is it a new version modified to feet in the CVE ?
 
The Gladius in Standoff is not 36m long simply because it'd look incredibly silly to make it that big. :)

A 36m long Gladius would be over 70 meters wide and its cockpit would be around 7 meters long...

And quite frankly, Origin has made it a militia light fighter in one game, and a state-of-the-art torpedo bomber in the other... so the truth is that even they don't know what to do with this ship :p

As a result, I've made the Standoff Gladius a fighter-bomber: it has a small torpedo payload (Enough to take out anything up to destroyer size), it doesn't have the armor or shields of a true bomber, but at least it can destroy a Sartha and run home if the escorts are gone :)

Well,you are right.Origin have done similar things to other ships too (Wraith!) .Anyway,its OK I dont got any problem.

I dunno If I bother you with my Threads and Posts,Im just trying to find weak points in Standoff,just to make it better.You are the one who take decisions.Im also very curious about Standoff, I think its the most interesting current Mod.
