Spaceman
I do have a region-free DVD player its just the P&P and waiting to get it shipped from America that puts me off buying online.

I've never watched it; however, I'm a big science fiction fan. I love The X-Files especially, but don't really like Star Trek. So would you recommend S:AaB?
Gunslinger2 said:Anyone who buys SAaB from Best Buy, be sure to check your discs. I purchased a set during the sale and the first disc had a defect making the second episode (Farthest man from home) unwatchable with stuttering and skipping. Figuring this to be an isolated incident I went to the store this morning to exchange it. Two people in front of me were exchanging their copies because of the EXACT same thing with disc 1.
Gunslinger2 said:Whoever Fox got to master these discs should be banned from making any more discs. The discs feel cheap and flimsy (as well as the cases they are in) and I am afraid they will become damaged after very little handly. I feel they will break just trying to get them out of the cheap cases.
Gunslinger2 said:Also, although I have not noticed it myself yet, one of the above mentioned customers in line in front of me said that the DVD menu shows a picture of the Babylon 5 station.
Gunslinger2 said:I may have to repurchase them from another retailer (in hopes of getting a better made set) once Best Buy no longer has the exclusive on selling them.
