Sadly, Obi-Shawn's H-wing was "totaled" in an accident October 8th. His page has been updated with more information.

Obi-Shawn plans to buy the car back from the insurance company and rebuild the H-wing. According to the FAQ he is accepting donations of money by Paypal, replacement parts, and corporate sponsorships.
 
Was there some guy in England who converted his entire house in the Star Trek genre setting, like everyone was 24th century look or something?
 
Lookin at some of the pictures, some of the people must be real bored....Only in America would we see something like that!??
 
Obi-Shawn was apparently on his way to an American Red Cross charity event when the accident happened.

It's not clear what his insurance company valued the car at but it seems like a used H-wing is worth less than $5400.

The damages, solely to the front end of the car, amount to $5400.00 according to repair estimates. This is above the Mercury Insurance's estimate of "fair market value"

Uglying up 2CVs in a manner similar to this was huge when I lived in France.
