Rippage of WCIV Movies

i'm pretty sure those are essentially encoded in the same way as the Xan AVIs, only without an AVI header.
So, can these movies be converted to AVIs simply by reconstruction of AVI headers? And how can I reconstruct them?
Thanks, I'll try this.
to encode the Russian voice-overs
No, I don't want neither dubbing nor voiceover, I want to keep original actor voices. So I'll make subtitled translation only.

What format is the audio in once you've extracted it from the xan compression? is it raw waveform PCM? I'd be interested in knowing, for a possible attempt at remaking the RealSpace engine. We already know most of the formats for the games, the 3d, movie formats etc.

Oh, sorry, I simply forgot about this thread. :-(
Of course, I spent some hours digging IFFs ripped from movies*.tre files. Unfortunately the videos have no audio tracks at all. But I found pilots' voices in some IFFS extracted from special*.tre files. These are micro$oft .wav, PCM, mono, 8 bit, 11025 Hz, no compression.
