Deathsnake has release a first demo of his WC2 Campaign for WC Saga. It includes, ingame cutscenes, voices and music from WC2KS and the first 2 missions

Ok - tried this out - seems to have some tech issues. I can't get past the intro. The model of the Tiger's Claw isn't rendering properly (i only see the weapon turrets and the engine glow) and after the fighters attack, the ship doesn't explode and the mission won't continue.

That's because the Bengal's textures are in TGA format.

That problem can be fixed by using a newer FSO build to play the campaign or by enabling the -jpgtga flag in the launcher.

I'll convert the textures to DDS and send them to Deathsnake to include in the next version of his WC2 Campaign.

Btw can you us another favour please? I've found your WC2 Strakha ( http://download.wcnews.com/files/fans/kc_swcscimitar_wc2strakha.zip )and Deathsnake needs it in POF-Format. And he also asks if he may use your Exeter and targeting cross.

And thanks to you Wedge009. Without your instructions, how to convert WC2's music and voices ( http://wedge009.net/wc/wc2/ ), Deathsnake and I couldn't have used them in his WC2 Demo.

No, it was just a joke--since you are doing a FS2 mod that looks like Standoff someone should do a mod that makes Standoff look like FS2. :)

Btw talking about Standoff: This is for the Standoff team: Since we need more models and since you have most of them, is it ok for you if Deathsnake uses them in his WC2 Remake? It might be for your advantage since it could be promotion for Standoff.

i continued work on the cinematics (these are not! the final cutscenes) to make a few flybys or kamera flys to the ship. I work only a few weeks on this mod, so I need still to lern some features and so on. The Hud make me sad because its a Mix of the WC2+3 Version (on my computer I see only the WC2 hud). Dunno why

So have fun and tell me what is good, whats bad, what could be better. The next build perhaps (I hope so) contains Cameraflyby.

So i get that inferno build and install it to the same folder as the saga prologue? then install the mod?

Correct. I'd recommend making a new folder in your WCS Prologue folder called "wc2demo" and placing the WC2 Demo VP files in that folder. You can then activate the WC2 Demo campaign by selecting the wc2demo folder as a mod in the launcher.
