Folks,
Now that the kids have all left the nest I have time and inclination to revisit a number of games. Wing Commander is among them!
I had played ALL of the WC games as they came out, beginning with WC1 in 1990 on a 75Mhz Pentium I!
I still have KILRATHI SAGA, WC IV, and PROPHECY GOLD, but they are all older, original issue copies.
Should I try to get those going, or it is GOG a better way to go?
What are the advantages/disadvantages of going the GOG route?
Are there problems running the games on modern computers, with modern versions of Windows (7, 8.1, and 10: I have a lot of hardware options <grin>).
Thanks!
