Problem with WC3

WC4 works fine though...:)
If everything else fails, i still have the soundcard from the other pc...not sure if i can use it in this one though.

WC4 may work fine in a DOS box in Windows, but that's not the same as actual pure DOS; doesn't really prove anything.

Worked...for the first couple of missions... :(
instaled the via drivers you told me, it says 'SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 P330' in autoexec, but doesnt works...i will try to install the old sound card.
 
Ah, this works, this thread really helps. I was having the same problem with mine and it IS the soundcard!

I run on a SoundBlaster Live! which has these specs for the resources:

Interrupt Request: 9
Input/Output Range: 1000-101F

Now there is an option for 9 for an IRQ and 0 for a DMA in the WC3 install, but what do I put for I/O port?
