Yeah, but tyrian had a story while raptor was more like: Big badass mercenary blows up 500 ships, gets paid and buy big guns to kill even more. But i really loved the graphics. There was another shooter called baryon (i think) witch i really hated. but i think both Tyrian AND raptor was very cool games. I also remember playing a game called overkill.
 
The arcade mode didnt have a story, but the one player mode had a story.
You were figthing microsol. I dont remember most of it but i think they blew up your best friend and/or parents.
