In WC2, when Doomsday is your wingman, he says "Affirmative, sir."

But he's a Major, while Blair is a Captain.

Anyone ever notice that?

And how do I get Privateer 2 to be less buggy?

In Wing Commander 2 you are still in command of the Wing, which means, rank or otherwise, you are his superior. Throw in all the regulations hubub and you get the "Sir" part.
