The thread below is about 760+ posts and it's just beginning to level out now.. and even it isn't especially long by newsgroup standards (it's the longest of the new year)

Is it just me or do threads that get that long on AGWC get quite repetitive... (eg. the summer's Blacklance thread)

I personally think threads that long over at AGWC get boring after a while. Read an inane comment, click the link to the next inane comment, wait until it connects, and so on. Here, you can read all of the inane comments in a straight column.

Anything that gets over two or three hundered posts (weather on USENET or on a bb like this one ) normally gets repetitive... But sometimes they're good...
