My username, aok?

I've noticed that McGruff gets alot of flak on these forums, and I'd like to put a good word in for him. Actually, I wasn't TOO offended by McGruff's joke. The joke was in the acknowledgment that the guy who chose Jesus as his username is not actually the son of God- which the guy who chose Jesus as his username agrees with and even includes that fact on his signature. It also implies it's futile to argue with God (which I agree). McGruff also doesn't make a statement as to whether Jesus was the prophesied Messiah or a liar/lunatic. ***Most Importantly as far as offensive posts go***: At least he doesn't blaspheme God by using his name in vein- as a cuss word which some people have done on these forums. Though this is a stupid thing to do from a Judeo/Christian/Muslim/ManyAgnostics/Other viewpoint, it's not illegal on these forums. I'm defending McGruff not because I liked his joke, but because I think he means no harm to others (which is unfortunately common in hateful comments I've seen from others). And after all, he IS a Wing Commander fan-- can't we all just get along?
 
I was gonna say something bad about McGruff, but since you put in a good word for him, I'll have to rethink my position.

Jesus is a fine username. People didn't seem to care when I just typed in 'Marc' instead of some fictionnal nickname-

welcome to the forum, I recommend the "WingCommander Universe" or the "Wing Commander Saga" screenshot threads- lots of good artists there. And there's good reading over at the "fan fiction chat"

He's right about Saga's screenshot thread, though. Every other forum I can think of only has a maximum of 1 good artist. :p
