LOL a weird way to kill Seether WC4

i was talking to a friend on the phone and he told me on PSX he played WC4
and he also told me this weird (YET TRUE!!!!)
way to kill seether
drop a bunch of decoys and watch from the rear view he goes boom
anyone ever know this one??

That doesn't really sound possible (Unless the decoys were dropped just as he fired off a bunch of missiles and made them blow up as they came out of the tubes....)

i mean i never thatught those things did anything more than slight nip to the sheilds
never knew tey could take someone out
the guy also said he did that to cats that were tailing him in WC3
thing is for seether as soon as the cutscene ends drop all your decoys and listen to that scream "NOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo BOOM!!"

Decoys do damage when you run into them, in pretty much every game that has them (you just don't see that many decoys before WC3, as ships before then only have a few decoys at most... then again, the missiles sucked back then, too).

Unfourtunately ABs don't hurt anyone... that's why you can't do the 'drop mine, hit AB' trick... (plus the fact that explosives don't make you move like the rockets in Quake

as for the rockets i hate those i always liked my railgun (or since i have a special weapon model in replace, Paranoids Power rifle)
want a screen e-mail me as for the weapon its CWclan only :p
 
Every one has played at least a few games of Quake (I haven't had time to play for awhile). My ping was never good enough to use the railgun (I could aim but they'd have moved by the time the gun fired

no ones ping is really good with the railgun
u shoot my five cm in front of the guy your shooting and usually that works
depending on your lag time

That was the so-called Guner/Gunner the banned that said that, I believe. Just in case anyone is interested I think that there exists a link on voodoo3.net to a company that has a product that forces higher resolutions in older games, thereby ridding your screen of the extremely pixelated look. It's for Voodoo users only though.

Yeah, I'm playing two games at once (not really WC2, but SO1...)

I think that utility would only be for Glide accelerated games (but if it does work then that would raise Prophecy's resolution... I'm going to go check it out...)

Well TC,

I have got to try the decoy trick the next time I go after Seether. I really never used the decoys in the game. Now I have an excuse too. Now I have another excuse to play some more WC....hmmm...who needs an excuse?
