I don't think that sending bitchy e-mails is a good idea. We have no power. they have the power. Remember what happened to Luke when he went up against Vader, he lost his hand. I ain't going up against the Vaders upstairs... well until maybe that one dude actually came up with the million dollars, maybe then. Still it isn't a good idea. Nope no way, nadda zilch. Bad bad bad idea.

You make them sound like some kind of gods. The site is free because of the Admins wanted to make a bad-ass fan site for WC. I don't think that us cowering in fear of them is what they want. (Well, not ALL of them... ;) )
 
Well, not cower. We should just respect their power. They have it. We have Freedom of speech... but only to a point. I think some swabbies have realized that now.
 
Oh I'm not debating that, after all, this IS their site/forum. They're the ones that pay for it, provide it, and assist it-more power to them. (I'm all for Admin jobs, I've done it before, it's kinda unthankful work. :) ) But participation in the forum is optional, it's not like this is Avalon and the Admins are debating as to whether I'm allowed to remain in paradise. (Although loss of a WC site this great, it's almost the same thing! ;) )

There is one question I have. If someone does something that the Admin's don't approve of how do they handle it? Do they banned first and ask questions later? As far as Colonel Hayden's polls are concern was he first emailed and explain that he shouldn't post so many polls or was he just banned? I feel that if he was banned first that this was not the correct course of action. He's a newbie here and should be given a little room. He didn't know about the cost to run this site. Closing his polls are unquestionablely the Admin's right too do, but perhaps they can find a better way of handling it.

Colonel Hayden shouldn't call anyone here a Nazis. That apology of his was wreak at best. If he was be banned it should be for that.

As far as Ghost, he been here longer then me. He knows better. I was amaze when I hear he was banned. I have great respected for Ghost. He just got caught up in a flame war. I been there before. I really don't think he should have been banned for that, but I am not an Admin. I don't know why they felt this was necessary, but it is their site.

I don't believe that we need to cower to the Admins and I don't believe they want us too. I think they are just worry about the cost to keep this site up. If someone really doesn't like the way the Admins are doing things than they have the freedom to go somewhere else.

Read the Rules. If you've got concerns about the way the administration is doing things, send them an e-mail about it.

A thread filled with people worrying about the cost of the Chat Zone and a thread filled with people being stupid both cost the same thing. Get over it.

You seem to forget that LOAF started this thread. We are only responding to it. If LOAF didn't want us to respond he would've close it. I think it's good from time to time for people to vent a little bit. I believe it's good for the overall morale of this site.

The way I see it LOAF just gave us the chance to do it were he could control it.:)

It seems to me that you just did a little venting too.;)

Firstly, this isn't the place for discussions of this. Secondly, he wasn't banned for posting too much :).

That wasn't a *real* ban, there's a lot of opportunities to joke with Ghost as he's a regular in #wingnut and knows the people around here well enough so that he doesn't get offended about things that aren't intended to be offensive.

Colonel Hayden, made it sound like that was why he was banned. Or maybe I am reading everything in the wrong context. The apoligy came before the ban?
 
If I understand this now the apoligy came before the ban, and he was banned because of it. It's was a timing thing for me. I read that thread after his unbanning. Ops, sorry my bad.:o I should stay over on the Tech Support side where I can't get into trouble.;)
