IGN counts top 100 games of all time

Honestly, even without being a WC fanboy, I think WC more than deserves a place in the top 100. It is still a reference for most Space sims. I fear they will place WC 3 instead of WC1/2 or Priv, if they not list them all.

Edit: Yes, Syndicate is in it. Besides the usual suspects (Dune 2, DooM, Monkey Island, Wing Commander...), I hope they make mention of Dungeon Keeper. I don't know how or if it influenced the genre but I think it is one of the best games I ever played.

I don't think that there are so many games that are better than Ultima 7.
I'd say U7 beats any JRPG, for instance.

Mech Warrior2 is in it, neat. I didn't think of it but it's true, I don't know any other good Mech simulation. Although, wasn't Earthsiege first?

No, the original Mechwarrior came first. I think it actually came out in the late 80s or very, very early 90s, since it was 16 color.

Ok, that was clear to me but MechWarrior1 was not really a good Mech simulator. Earthsiege waas a good Mech simulator at that time and I think it was released before MW2 but I am unsure and not interested enough to check. :)

There are some good games on that list but there are some that REALLY REALLY ought not to be, Mafia immediately springs to mind. As big a Res Evil fan as I may be I know the original was infinitely flawed and yet has earned a higher spot than Goldeneye, the system seller of the 90s, and the multiplayer game, a title I still find myself returning to frequently.

The Original Mechwarrior Was Developed by Dynamax but Activision Published it and Owned the rights to franchise and for mech 2 moved the development in house (I think becuase Sierra Bought Dynamx). So Dynamax Created Earthsiege. However in a funny turn of events Activision then Lost the Rights to Mechwarrior franchise To Microprose who Published Mech 3, and Activision got the Rights to Heavy gear series.

I can't believe no WC game made that list.
