Character casting . . .

I too think it's mainly the hair.
even though what we want will probably not come about, it's kindof fun to fantasize. More likely than not, the show will go the way of the latest star trek: enterprise and other tv shows such as that 80's show, 24, and Scrubs: Take 1 relatively well known actor/actress and surround them with promising young thespians that haven't been in much.
Although I did think of someone else who would't be a bad hunter or maybe even blair if they could fudge the age issue enough. The lead character from the TV show "First Wave" Cade Foster (Sebastion Spense) would make a good understated, brooding Blair. (anyway, first wave went the way of WC3 and cast an ex-porn star in one of the leads!). Like I said before, just thoughts.

Hugh Jackman as Hunter, absolutely.
Mel Gibson would be an excellent Paladin (even tho' he's an Aussie, "Braveheart" proves that he does a pretty mean Scottish burr...). This is even more true of Paladin in his later years, since Gibson's almost 50 now. As to others, let's see:
Angel: I thought the gal in WC3 cutscenes was pretty good (can't think of her name).
Maniac: Either Gary Busey (older version), or his son, Jake Busey (younger edition); they're both suitably intense, cocky, crazy blokes.
Halcyon: Tom Skerritt, perhaps?
Bossman: Jackie Chan

As much as I like Jackie, I don't think WC would be a good place for him - he enjoys making movies where there's "10% talk, 90% action". Or something like that.
HAL see-on. Emphasis is on the Hal part. Kinda hard to write pronunciation in text...
What I originally started this as was a way for people to put up or shut up on casting. It's pretty much like everything else, people will bitch about something for hours but far be it from them to actually take the time and put in the, dare I say it, thought to propose something to make it better. People bitch about the casting of Prinze, Lillard, and Saffron all the time, I just wanted to give people who wanted to put up their "fantasy roster" of WC casting out in the open and in one place.
