In WC1-4 it was possible to disable the video images when someone communicated with your ship so that the comm was audio only. Is there a way to do this in privateer 1 ?

I'm running Privateer (CD) in Dosbox .63 and it seems to work ok so far (If I skip the intro). except I run into a problem with the cutscene in the intro where it stutters and locks up. Anyone have a solution for this ? My PC is a 2.8 mhz P4 HT w/ 1GB RAM, ATI 9600 128, SB Audigy 2, 16x...
