Don Perrin is a game developer credited with work on the Wing Commander Collectible Trading Card Game. They were a driving force in designing and promoting the game. They were also responsible for the artwork for six pilot award cards. They were responsible for a number of Usenet posts addressing the game.

Robot Blues, a Star of the Guardians novel by Margaret Weis and Don Perrin, includes a Wing Commander reference. The novel was published in December 1996.
