"Lightning" was the callsign of a Terran pilot assigned to the TCS Tiger's Claw and it's 88th Fighter Wing. He was flying a patrol with Knight near Kurasawa IV when they were jumped by a wing of Gratha. In the resulting melee he was killed in action.
