Ernesto Sandoval had InSystem Security, the Confederation, and less reputable people after him, and all because he obtained an alien artifact. The above factions all wanted the artifact for themselves, and were prepared to kill Sandoval to get it. Sandoval himself is rumored to have obtained the artifact by killing its previous owner, Dieter.
Fearing for his life, Sandoval offloaded the artifact on to an unsuspecting Grayson Burrows, however it is too late and somebody kills Sandoval anyway. |
