Wing Commander Prophecy wont run on my hp laptop

So I get multiple objects detected error code. I installed the game through the cd. I used the open gl patch, and everytime after I complete the second mission. I press exit after it shows the mission results and it crashes. I really want to play this game, because I have never gotten to play it all the way through. I have been playing Wing Commander since I found it for playstation when I was a kid. Is there anybody who can help me? Below I have pasted my laptop info.

Have you tried any compatibility steps beyond the open GL patch? My next recommendation would be to right click on the executable and run it in Windows XP compatibility mode.
