well I'm fairly certain you are wrong about basilisk emulating ppc else there would be no reason to use sheepshaver. And I do know that basilisk cant handle above os8 for that reason. I think you have it the other way around, sheepshaver has an "experimental" feature to read 86k stuff, but Basiisk is far better for that. Anyway, your right about swc supporting both. I have tried sheepshaver on windows and it is indeed awkward. Most the time it wont even load and even when it works, it has difficulty supporting quicktime 3 for no reason.
