WC4 Mouse problem

Im trying to play wc4 with a mouse like I sis Ruth WCP, SO, Standoff, UE, but the mouse in WC$ got some movement problems, sometimes wend I got the mouse near the centre of the hud the ship moves in the opposite direction and sometimes it makes some blockier moves
I’m using a USB mouse with WC4 2 side DVD on windows XP and all the double side DVD patches, is there a way to fix it

As Chris pointed out in the other post, there may be conflicts if other USB devices are attached, or if any active programs are running in the background uf your system.

The easiest and cheapest solution would be to try out a PS/2-mouse first.
