WC VI?

Hmmm, the way I saw the next WC game in my mind was like this: A small task force of several Confed capship would have entered bug space, secure the erea, only to fall into an ambuse made by the bugs. Almost every capship of that force would have got destoried, excpt 1-2 carriers with their escorts. Having to be on one of those carriers, you'd fly against the bugs in their own teratory, but mainly tring to find a way to get back into Confed's space. I'd also add some new Kilrathi pilots to serve on the carriers, to inhance the plot about the feeling people still have about the war.

), but it sounds good to me

Okay, okay. I am bowing before your omnipotence Quarto...happy?! All I'm going to say is that desperate times require desperate measures. Anyway, so what do you think is going to happen? All you've done is refute everything I've put forth. Do you think the Kilrathi would approach us with an offer of an alliance or will the Confederation be the first to offer up an olive branch?

Confed should not go on an offensive, simply because they're Confed. They want peace, they just came out of a thirty-five year war, and unless you want to see the Israel-Lebanon story recycled as the plot of WCVI, Confed will not go on the offensive.

This is a different case though. Confed HAS to go on an offensive, even if a limited one. They have to get to the bug space before the bugs come back to ours.

The Blair coming back theory, as I've previously stated, is not only boring, it's also outright stupid. I'd rather see Confed fighting the Radioactive Hamsters from Mars than see Blair come back in any form.

I don't know if Casey is actually involved with Stiletto, or if they're still hovering in that "just friends" stage that they can't seem to leave, but... come on, would you seriously go after a woman who's so much older than you? Gah...

Anyhow, they already spent some time between Prophecy and SO, though I doubt anything serious happened.

Besides, Rachel's ugly, and acts too much like a... a... well, to put it nicely, I don't think her Confed job is her main source of income

Yes, she is somewhat ugly in Prophecy, but IMO she at least looks better than Finely.

What I meant by saying that the Bugs never destroyed Kilrah was that if I were a Kilrathi warrior...I'd hate those "damned, dirty apes" a hell of a lot more than some supposed mythological figure from millenia ago. It is a fresher wound after all.

What Quarto said, plus….. Not all Kilrathi hate Confed for destroying Kilrah. Some of them, like Melek, even worship him for that. They see the destruction of Kilrah as Sivars doing to clean up the corruption of the Kilrathi race.

As for the next game, I really don't think I can hazard a guess. Origin always twisted a lot of things around for the sequels (Tiger's Claw goes down, Battle of Terra... need I say more?), and now we've got the unpredictable element of Nephilem gateways to add to the equation. Anybody who thinks s/he can predict what the next game (which, alas, will never exist, methinks) will contain is probably wrong

. So, I refuse to hazard a guess.
But I don't think there will be another Confed-Kilrathi war, if that's what you're asking. If anything, Confed might get involved in Kilrathi-Kilrathi conflicts.
