Was the medal of valor cut from the Amiga (non-CD32) version?

Something occurred to me recently: In all my many replays of Wing Commander since I got it on the Amiga 500 I do not remember ever being awarded the Terran Confederation of Valor.

Since so many other things were cut from the Amiga version I have to ask if the medal was cut from the game as well? ....or do I just suck at WC?

I can confirm it's in there! You can only earn it the final missions (Venice or Hell's Kitchen 4).

Don’t worry, often it’s not your fault at all that you don’t get the medal. Hunter usually takes enough mills to prevent it from being awarded.
