Oh, certainly. I didn't mean to say that I disagree with you on the WCA and WC1 Scims being different enough to be considered different variants. What I meant is that, in this case, the different design was to be expected (even if they had intended it to be the same variant).Lynx said:But there are also additional differences like armament and loadout, indicating that there are a few different versions of each ship type
IMHO, you should consider sticking to hard edges for the part that's directly below the green wing-like-thing (between the green thing and the upper part of the ship's main body). IIRC, all the sketches (even Taggart's Tactics, imagine that ) show a kind of \_/ shaped platform-thing there (that's the shape from top view, nose pointing down on the screen) which seems to connect the main body to the wing-like green thing.Maj.Striker said:The blueprints suggest a curvy body while the claw marks diagram and most pictures suggest harder "boxier" edges.

And the WCA Scimitar. Maybe there are a few different versions of the Scimitar like with the Rapier II. The WCA Scim has two lasers instead of massdrivers, so I think we can already call it a version of the standard design (and yes, Taggarts tactics Scimitar rocks)

if so the Action Station book cover has some pretty creepy ships in the back ground that are (I hope) of Kilrathy origin.
