Who will win a total all out war, between these two backwater powers, (Confed will not get involved in this conflict to let as Paulsen said "Barbarians" fight it out), it takes place after say a few months after WC IV......

What've the Union of Border Worlds got?
ck9791 said:The UBW has the Dragon's they seized. Even though the Border Worlds have a limited number of these super fighters, I'm sure they would pose to be a problem for Landreich.
Anxiety said:You have to remember that UBW also has good pilots for their said Dragons. People such as Maniac, Blair, Hawk, and Panther. Although Jason Ryock did have a good point with the Landreich and their suicidal win-at-all-costs-attitude, it is very difficult to decide. Also, wouldn't the UBW have the St. Helens? Or was that so shot up that it was useless and/or scrapped?

Tolwyn said:As far as I recall it was returned to the Confederation.
As for Blair and Maniac: there are three versions, as you may know: in one Blair becomes an Admiral, in the other UBW instructor aboard the BWS Intrepid. The third one is the ending of the official novell: Blair gets a promotion to Brigander General, Maniac get his own squadron (means he was promoted to the rank of Colonel)
Dragon1 said:In WC4, we never really get a good look at the Border Worlds Navy to make any type of assesment. If you guys are accurate in that the BW has only one or two carriers and one or two cruisers, Blair never would have said that the potential war between Confed and the BWU would be "...bloodier than the war with the Kilrathi...". Furthermore, Vice-Admiral Wilford commanding the forward fleet mentions sending out a cruiser (the BWS Hopkins) to take control of the TCS Princeton. The way he made this command to Blair would indicate that the Border Worlds Fleet included far more than one cruiser. Perhaps many of the surviving Waterloo, Manassas and prewar cruisers were serving in the Border Wordls. Also, some of these cruisers could have been converted to light carriers.
