Are you using an emulator? If so, which one?
Are you running it off original disks or disk images?
Sounds like it's a memory error to me honestly, but if you give us nothing to go on it's pretty hard to diagnose considering this is also a console game and outside of running it on original playstation hardware there's a million things that could be going on here.
