For me, Print Screen only works on WCP/SO. There's some funky Grabber utility for the DOS based WCs, I think. I tried using Print Screen with WC4Win, but it didn't work for me.

print screen only works right with WCP.

Screenshots are a total git in the WC series. I tend to just let other people do it for me and "borrow" them

That's right. For the earlier games, the most popular utility I've seen used is HyperSnap-DX. Just download, install, and you're on your way.

Theres dozens up dozens of DOS-based grabbers. I was going through an old FTP of some who-dad college way back when and found literally dozens if not hundreds of old DOS apps. Screen savers, memory management, patches, upgrades to 3.1 (!) and, yes, screen grabbers.

I tried 3 or 4 of em but they didnt work with WCIII or IV.
