Black-Wulf

Rear Admiral
does anyone know wether the wing commander music and some of the figures of the game are still a trademark of origin/EA?
I'd like to add some of the WC tracks to a fan project and don't want to become trouble.

Almost everything related to Wing Commander is the legal property of Electronic Arts... and it will be long after we're all dead.

Presuming they keep up on their copyrights. :) It may have changed but believe that any music works after 50 years (it might be 100) is considered to be available to the public unless the copryights have been renewed. I could be way off base on that however...so take it with a grain of salt.

Look around, maybe ASCAP or the federal copyright office has a website with the rules and regultions on it.

kk thx guys I wil check out the ASCAP. But one last question:
In WC Standoff they have WC2 Tracks. How's that possible? are theese tracks self made or what?

Standoff actually does have a lot of music made by their team that sounds similar to WC2 music.
