Kris, if you can get WCIII running on my heap, I'll send you 10 bucks (or whatever I have laying around.) I got to like hte 2nd or 3rd mission, and then on the last nav, on my way back to Tin Can Sally, it will lock up and thats it. It's the first on where you escort the transport out of the system.
I'm trying to find a decent dos box, but at my low cash flow, I haven't been able to get what I'm looking for, let alone something to build off of. I'm going to build it for WCIV specs, that I'll be sure it'll run everything under the sun that's WC (well, not WCP, because I'm not going to have Win on it, I'm not even putting 3.1 on it).

My system is Win 98

I don't know how to use DOS, so I couldn't tell you.

Funny... I've never had that problem with DOS, Kalkrath. Hmm... could it be that you're doing something wrong?

WC4 used to crash at the exact same spot every time when I first got it. The solution was simple: uninstall, defrag the drive, reinstall. Something worth trying.
