As cheap as a CD-RW is, and the low low cost of a blank cd-r, I religiously back up the HD and the master CD's of games, programs, even the windows cd, that is, if the master cd does not have the clokspel.exe thing. The data is written to recognize that file and when you copy it to make a backup, the timestamp on that file changes, thus the copy is useless! You could omit the clokspel thing, but then it will try to find it when you run from the backup! Moral, handle cd's with care, use them jewel cases, remove from drives when not in use, and go buy a real frisbie, much cheaper and they fly better!!
