The TCS Tiger's claw was a Confederation Bengal-Class strike carrier having one of the most storied commisionings in Confed History. For example the famous carrier was responsible for routing a Kilrathi invasion force while still on her shakedown cruise.

The TCS Tiger's Claw was assigned to the Vega sector for many years and was a key part of several military actions including Custer's Carnival and the Goddard Campaign. Unfortunately, when the Tiger's Claw was reassigned to the Enigma sector, the ship was destroyed by stealth fighters while on approach to K'tithrak Mang.

Some controversy arose over the proper name of the ship as numerous sources - icluding documents written by the carrier’s pilots and crew - refer to the ship as simply Tiger Claw rather than the possesive Tiger's Claw. This stems from the ship having been laid down as Tiger Claw but commissioned as Tiger’s Claw with the latter being what appeared on her hull.
