"Russo"

Russo was a Terran pilot who flew for the Terran Confederation. His real name is not known.

Russo was an active pilot as of 2673, during the Border Worlds Crisis. It is not known if he was a veteran of the Terran-Kilrathi War. He was the leader of Green Squadron, a squadron of three F-86 Hellcat V Medium Fighters assigned to escort the TCS Amadeus, a civilian medical transport. Their mission was to deliver Terran refugees from the crisis to the Megaron System.

During the patrol, Russo and his squad were ambushed by a squadron of Black Lance starfighters posing as Union of Border Worlds fighters, led by the murderous "Seether". The Amadeus informed Russo that they had detected a strange signal from presumably cloaked craft. Russo dismissed it as paranoia before being shot down in cold blood by Seether. He was the only pilot of his squad not to see the attackers.
