- Wizard is a good card for defensive flying when you want to be a bit flashy. You've got a nice Defense +1 to pad your defenses, and the Maneuver +1 helps you against your enemy. He's pretty cheap too. If you'd like something simple and cheap, use Wizard. Otherwise, hold out for something a bit more powerful and save the slot in your deck.

Notes
- Wizard is wearing the silver pips and rank insignia of a Space Navy captain rather than a Space Force lieutenant.
- The spacecraft seen in the background of this card does not appear anywhere else in the Wing Commander canon. It is one of two original spacecraft which appear in the collectible trading card game.
