Gnufly were a type of insect native to planets in the Tri-System. Gnuflies swarm and are highly poisonous, capable of hospitalizing humans with their bites. In 2790, gnufly swarms caused a 10% increase in the price of blood on a planet. The Commerce and Communications Network reported on this story in Gnuflies plague (Planet).
