Sigma Wing was part of the rotational flight designations used onboard the TCS Tiger's Claw in reference to the missions flown by her pilots. Missions known to be flown under the Sigma designator include:

• A escort of a Drayman tanker to the Claw in the Gateway system on 2654.134
• A defense of the Tiger's Claw and a nearby Exeter class destroyer, and and attack on a Fralthi cruiser in the Port Hedland system on 2654.141
