Belisarius Group

The Belisarius Group was a faction in the Terran Confederation Armed Forces formed during the Terran-Kilrathi War. Following the aftermath of the False Armistice in which Earth was nearly destroyed in a Kilrathi assault, many prominent members of the Armed Forces sought to disband the civilian government in favor of a military government, one that would remain vigilant in the face of the growing threat posed by the emerging Kilrathi. Prominent members of the organization included Admiral David Whittaker.
