Lyford Beverage was a Terran Confederation Space Navy lieutenant. He was a flight deck officer aboard the TCS Tarawa during Operation Back Lash. When Jason Bondarevsky arrived on the Tarawa he mentioned to Beverage that he would like to have the wing's reconnaissance ships positioned in front of the fighter bombers, prompting Beverage to work through the night to rearrange the launch sequence. He conducted launch operations for the wing's training mission the following day. Bondarevsky was impressed with Beverage's commitment to getting the job done correctly and considered him to show real promise.
