Mylon is a star system in the Vega Sector and a former territory of the Terran Confederation. It is now listed as a member of the Union of Border Worlds.
Mylon hosts as least tree planets, including Mylon II, which was once described as an "economically depressed industrial world". Mylon II was also home of Terran ace Jacob "Hawk" Manley.
During the Terran-Kilrathi War, Mylon was attacked by the Kilrathi, who launched a proton bomb attack on Mylon II. Hawk's entire family was among those killed in the attack, and it came to fuel his intense hatred for the Kilrathi race throughout and beyond the War.
