Arnold Blair was the father of Christopher Blair and husband of Devi Soulsong. A Terran Confederation war hero during the Pilgrim Wars, Arnold met and fell in love with Devi, a pilgrim. During the end of the Pilgrim Wars, Devi was captured in Peron and Arnold attempted to rescue her, leaving behind his 3 year old son with his sister Jennifer. Eventually, Arnold and Devi were killed during the Peron massacre.
To the general populace, Confed propaganda celebrated Arnold Blair as a war hero. It was years later the truth was discovered which caused a deal of grievance to the young Christopher.
