I think the preferences might of reset when Kris updated the MediaWiki? You actually control your own timestamps. http://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Special:Preferences That link allows you to edit your own timezone/etc. I'm not sure if that then reflects on all time stamps or just your own.
