While the Victory was conducting combat trials for the F-106 Excalibur in the Tamayo System, the vessel was ambushed by a massive Kilrathi bomber force, prompting an emergency scramble. Weasel was among several pilots who rushed to the defense of the Victory as the Kilrathi swarmed in. Unfortunately, Weasel's Arrow V was severely damaged in the opening volley, and he was killed immediately after radioing for backup.
