Due to a failed [[kilrathi]] attack on the ''Claw'' the previous day, on [[2654.133]], Colonel [[Peter Halcyon]] ordered several wings to rendezvous with the ships and to be especially vigilant in their defense as they escorted them to the ''Claw''. One such wing was [[Sigma Wing]], which consisted of [[Christopher Blair]] and [[James Taggart]].
