First of all, thanks for the advice. Second of all, you are right. I own no novels, and I have only played Wing Commander 3 in full. WC1 and WC2 were released around the same time I came around, and somehow I never acquired them. I recently got WC4, but can't play it due to some technical issues on my computer. Please don't consider me a useless contributor. I LOVE Wing Commander. The third game and I had some great times killing the kats. I have extensively explored the rest of the universe and feel myself to be a member of its awesome fanbase. However, you deserve to know that I may not be up to speed with you guys, who have probably played all of the games. But please, allow me to help you guys in any way I can. Wing Commander is a series well worth the effort for accuracy, and I dedicate myself to that effort.

Also, review the other articles I've rewritten to see the style that should be used. While your love is understandable and appreciated, I think you should take some time to explore as much of the CIC's databases as you can before contributing  more. I just cleaned up the Ralarrad article because there were far too many liberties taken in it.  
That link is to the KS manual that has Claw Marks, WC2 manual and Victory Streak within. Please stick to material which you have the sources for. The Blackmane station article looks like you were pulling info from Saga (which is not canon). I deleted the section because it needed to be completely redone. Again, if you have questions ask on the CZ or in #wingnut. I appreciate the help, but as I've said before you should pick an area and then completely develop articles. I don't really understand how you thought you could create some of the articles you did without owning the sources, especially the False Armistice which is laid out fully in Fleet Action.

Also, just copying and pasting from existing CIC archives isn't exactly contributing. If we wanted to do that we wouldn't have started WCPedia in the first place. The whole idea is to incorporate every source we can into every article. Take some time and look at the old game manuals, ClawMarks, VictoryStreak, KS manual, Voices of War, etc. Check out the document archives, the holovids section, etc and learn as much as you can.

Okay, I'm going to take a break from writing new articles. I read your email on Crius and your various messages and you are right. Before I write such articles, I need to do the research. I will hunt down the various sources you have mentioned and I will try my best to get my facts straight. But for the time being, don't expect any new articles from me for perhaps a day or more. I don't want to create any more trouble for you guys.

Thank you. I'm not trying to discourage you, but just make it clear that there is a lot of work involved in creating articles and we aren't looking for just copy and pasters. The forums are an incredible resource and if you ask questions all of us are more than willing to answer. My only problem was that your articles were filled with too much conjecture and your own ideas instead of what we actually know.

Enjoy your research period but make sure to ask questions. That's what the CIC forums are for. We are all willing to help.
I just took fresh screen-shots and saved them as lossless PNGs. Were you trying to do the same? I thought they were just copied from the CIC Guides. I finished SM2 (thought I did that previously, but apparently not) and made a start on WC2, but was too tired to get very far. I'm happy to continued with WC2 + SO1/2, to free you up for other tasks - Wedge.

We've been on #wingnut regularly. Just stop by anytime. We've been working on everything layout. The entire project has been split into two parts. The Wing Commander Encyclopedia for real world entries, and the Terran Knowledge Back for inuniverse entries. We've started product landing pages which are under the Games link in the sidebar.
